*Note we use disabled here instead of the phrase ‘employees with disabilities’. The majority of self-advocates in this group have indicated that they prefer identity-first language (disabled) instead of person-centered language (with disabilities). We use this for addressing and referring to this group of individuals, please make sure to ask a disabled employee what they prefer.
