This New Years Activity resource is a fun back-from-winter-break activity. It gives you and your students a chance to reflect back on the previous year and look forward to 2024.
Use this as a fun check in with students to see where they are with their goals and wishes, and the vision board option at the end gives space to share what they’re thinking about for this year.
Student creativity: The activity allows for lots of student creativity and can fill up any amount of time you need getting back into the swing of things after winter break. There is space for students to write, draw, cut and paste pictures from magazines or online.
Differentiation options: this resource includes 3 options for your students to complete the activity: blank sections, lines, and dashed lines.
Ideas for use: warm-up, morning meeting, transition activity, early finisher, small group, 1:1, whole class, as a craft (can post everyone’s Vision boards).
