This Thanksgiving Activity resource is a fun before-Thanksgiving-break activity. It gives you and your students a chance to think about what is to come over the break, think about what they’re grateful for, share their Thanksgiving plans.
This time of year, our students are starting to get restless and look forward to their Thanksgiving break. Why not funnel that energy into this activity?!
Student creativity: The activity allows for lots of student creativity and can fill up any amount of time you need, especially in the downtimes before the Thanksgiving break. There is space for students to write, draw, cut and paste pictures from magazines or online.
Differentiation options: this resource includes 3 options for your students to complete the activity: blank sections, lines, and dashed lines.
Ideas for use: warm-up, morning meeting, transition activity, early finisher, small group, 1:1, whole class, as a craft (can post everyone’s Thankful for sections).
